We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead environmental projects and manage key client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to shape project direction, mentor team members, and drive business growth while working on some of Australia's most significant infrastructure developments. You will be responsible for project delivery, client management, and technical oversight across a diverse portfolio of projects in the energy, transport, and resources sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage environmental projects from conception to completion • Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for business development • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for project deliverables • Mentor and develop junior and intermediate team members • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events
Requirements & Qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline • Minimum 8-10 years experience in environmental consulting or project management • Proven track record in managing complex environmental projects • Strong client management and business development skills • Experience with Queensland and Commonwealth environmental legislation • Excellent leadership and team management abilities • Professional certification (e.g., CEnvP, RPEQ) advantageous
